The Balvenie25 Triple Cask

The Balvenie 25 Year Old Triple Cask is a distinguished Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured for 25 years in three types of casks: traditional refill casks, first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, and first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. After maturation, the whiskies are married in a large wooden vessel known as a marrying tun for approximately six months before bottling. This process imparts a complex flavor profile featuring notes of honeyed malt, flamed orange peel, cinnamon, tobacco leaf, papaya, and dried fruit.
